Dyfed Family History Society The DYFED FAMILY HISTORY SOCIETY exists to serve anyone interested in Genealogy within the three Welsh counties of Cardiganshire (Ceredigion), Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. The Society has local Branches in Llandovery, Haverfordwest, Cardigan, Llanelli, Carmarthen and a section within the London Branch of the Welsh Federation of Family History Societies, and a growing membership from Internet users. Membership has many advantages for those with Dyfed ancestors, or an interest in the local history.

Llanelli & Mynydd Mawr Railway The LMMR Company Ltd. was incorporated on the 15th April 1999 as a non-profit making company
limited by guarantee (with no remuneration paid to its Directors). The primary objective of the Company is
to reinstate a railway on this historic line which is recognised as Britain's first operating public railway
authorised by the Act of Parliament in 1802 and which began traffic in May 1803 as the Carmarthenshire
Tramroad.
